About Kat
Kat Gannon is a Loan Officer in the Birmingham office of Assurance Financial. She is licensed with the NMLS Registry.
The housing market plunge in 2007 compelled Kat to retire her beloved Realtor hat and put her professional people skills to work elsewhere. She accepted a position in Business Development for a commercial real estate services company and sharpened her skill set even more. After her daughter was born and she was no longer able to travel she decided to take a break and revel in motherhood. Time marched on and she started exploring the other side of the real estate realm, and decided to dive head first into the mortgage industry. Kat joined the Assurance Financial family with much gusto in 2015 and has undoubtedly found her calling.
When asked about her business, Kat says, My real estate background coupled with the years of experience managing over 100 loan transactions affords me the ability to educate my clients on each and every one of their loan options. They trust me to advise them on the loan program that best suits all of their needs while leading them through the mortgage process all the way home’. Being customer service oriented is in my nature and I understand and empathize with the pressure that latches on to this exciting time and, therefore, I am on call 24/7. I enjoy working with all shapes and sizes of loans and nurture each of them just the same. I work hard to ensure that my referral partners feel 100% confident while entrusting me to advise their friends, family and customers, and that is easy, because I love my job!
