Patrick specializes in small business owner home loans, focusing on providing mortgage solutions for entrepreneurs and the self-employed. He understands the difficulties faced by those who walk the tough path of entrepreneurship – small business owners, solopreneurs, gig workers, independent contractors, and freelancers – especially when it comes to purchasing a home. Not only does he have the expertise to help you navigate the obstacles along the path to owning your dream home, but he also ensures that your mortgage fits your entrepreneurial lifestyle.
Outside of his specialty, Patrick has the skill to assist everyone in all of your mortgage needs – whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, are buying a vacation home in the Lowcountry, or are a seasoned real estate investor. He believes in being a team player and understands the importance of collaborating with his clients’ other professional advisors to weave real estate financing holistically into his clients’ lives. He enjoys taking the time and effort to educate and guide his clients through the mortgage process, helping them understand their options to meet their financial goals – whether buying the home of their dreams, a home away from home, or an investment property.
A Louisiana native, Patrick fell in love with the Carolinas during his service in the Marine Corps. He has lived in the Carolinas since 2018, having always felt that they were where he was meant to be. Patrick and his wife Anna moved to South Carolina’s Lowcountry from Charlotte in 2021, planting roots in Charleston as their forever home. They spend their free time enjoying all that life in the Lowcountry has to offer, especially Charleston’s charm, beaches and restaurants.
Patrick has deep financial services knowledge, including personal finance, mortgage lending, real estate investing, and small business finance. He earned his MBA at Louisiana State University and has fifteen years of experience providing solutions for clients across several industries. He intimately understands the rigorous process of getting a mortgage, having been in the homebuyer’s shoes several times and having led a business loan underwriting team. Patrick strongly believes in lifelong learning, professional education, and in giving back to the community. He volunteers with SCORE, helping the Lowcountry’s small business owners start and run businesses, and he mentors veterans and entrepreneurs in career development and professional networking. His hobbies include renovating old homes, CrossFit, and surfing.
